BasicsCard placed on 96 people: Senate hearing

The BasicsCard, used to manage quarantined welfare payments for those living under the NT intervention. Compulsory income  management will be rolled out into five disadvantaged centres around Australia from next year.

NATIONAL: Less than 100 people have been put on income management across five trial sites in Australia since the system was expanded in July, a Senate hearing has been told.
