NATIONAL: The Australian Bureau of Statistics’ Labour Force survey was released last month, with little media attention. Which is a shame, writes PROFESSOR JON ALTMAN*, because it shows Indigenous unemployment rates have increased since Labor took office and pledged to ‘Close the Gap’.
