INTERNATIONAL: The childhood home of boxing legend Muhammad Ali is up for sale in Kentucky.
Owner Steve Stephenson said on Monday he’s asking $US50,000 ($A48,000) for the small white house with a sagging front porch. It is located in a western Louisville neighbourhood of neat, modest homes.
The sign in front of the house says it is for sale by owner. Stephenson declined to provide further details.
Out front of the home is a state historical marker recognising the residence as Ali’s home when he was a boy, when he was known as Cassius Clay.
Ali grew up in Louisville. His museum and education facility, the Muhammad Ali Center, is one of the city’s prime tourist attractions.
AFL INDIGENOUS ROUND: This weekend the AFL celebrates and honours the contribution of Aboriginal players to the Aboriginal game of Marngrook, or as its commonly known, AFL.
