Tracker to play an important role: Oakeshott

I WRITE to wish the Tracker team all the best with the new magazine. These are important times for Aboriginal rights, and for Australia, writes ROB OAKESHOTT.

I am confident Tracker will contribute to a more informed conversation on all relevant issues, and by doing so, it will help make that “Koori grapevine” even more powerful than the national broadband network.

It is through an informed and organised network that positive change comes, whether in native title, constitutional reform, or health, education, or employment strategies to name just a few.

Tracker will therefore play a really important role in getting better community outcomes, and I wish you all the best of success in expanding your readership as widely as possible. Good luck Tracker.
